Veering OT a little (but still on topic so far as private fliers
and taxes are concerned). ISTR that hobby pilots, the people who
just buzz around at weekends in private planes, don't pay tax on
the fuel they use. Is that still the case?

Never has been the case - we pay over £2 per litre for petrol.

Never has been the case - we pay over £2 per litre for petrol.
